Pakistan’s Noor Zaman also lost in the quarterfinals of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Karachi Open Gold Championship, with all three Pakistani players eliminated from the competition.

In the men’s and women’s competition, 5 players from Egypt reached the semi-finals.

The semi-final round for the ongoing DHA Creek Club Squash Championship is over.

Pakistan’s Noor Zaman faced England’s No. 4 Muhammad Al-Shorbaghe in the quarterfinals, with Muhammad Al-Shorbaghe winning the first 2 games 11.2 and 11.8.

Then Noor Zaman came back and won the third game 11.6 and the fourth 11.8 and the match was 2.2. The fifth and deciding game was also hard fought, but world number 9 Muhammad Al-Shorbaghe won the semi-final with 11.9.

In an earlier quarter-final, Egypt’s Mohamed Zakaria defeated Hong Kong’s Alex Liu.

In the women’s quarter-finals, Aafia Azman of Malaysia defeated No. 3 seed Feroz Abulkhair of Egypt in street games.

In the other quarter-final, Malaysian No. 2 Siwa Sangri beat England’s Luc Tormey in street games.
