Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo once again played a major role as his Saudi side Al-Nasr secured a 5-2 win over Al-Najma.
Ronaldo scored 2 goals in this match and strengthened his team’s competition.
However, one of the most talked about moments on social media was Ronaldo’s performance in the match, when he said ‘Bismillah’ before scoring a penalty.

He scored a penalty in the 56th minute and made the score 2-3, then scored another goal in the 73rd minute and gave his team a 2-4 lead.
After this impressive performance, Ronaldo’s career goals reached 967 and he is now fast approaching the historic milestone of 1000 goals.
This is not the first time that Ronaldo has used a specific Islamic term that is considered an essential part of Muslim life.
During his speech after winning the Middle East Footballer of the Year Award for the third time in a row in December 2025, he used the word ‘Inshallah’ to complete 1000 goals.

On social networks, it is also pointed out that if Ronaldo stays in Saudi Arabia for some time, he may convert to Islam, but there is no indication of such a thing from Ronaldo himself or his close sources.
