Indian batsman Rinku Singh is out of the T20 World Cup and has gone home

The father of Indian cricketer Rinku Singh, Khanchand Singh, has died after a long battle with liver cancer.

According to Indian media, Rinku Singh, who is part of the Indian squad for the T20 World Cup, immediately went home to be with his family.

According to reports in India, Khanchand Singh’s condition worsened earlier this week and he was put on air.

It is worth mentioning that Rinku Singh did not participate in the eleven games against Zimbabwe in the Super Eights yesterday but he came on the field as a substitute player.

In the Super Eight stage of the T20 World Cup, India beat Zimbabwe by 72 runs in Chennai, soon after the match, Rinku got the news of her father’s death and immediately went to Aligarh.
