Report: Atiqur Rehman. India is in danger of being disqualified from hosting the World Snooker Championship.

The International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) has informed India that India may be denied hosting of the Snooker Championship due to non-grant of visas to Pakistani players.

Speaking to Geo News, Abdul Qadir, president of the Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association, said that the IBSF has said that if the Pakistanis do not get visas, they will shift the championship to another country.

He said that Pakistan informed the IBSF about its reservations, even in 2024, Pakistani players could not go to the event due to non-issue of visas to India.

Abdul Qadir also said that the snooker world championship will be held in India in November. After getting Indian visa, we will wait for instructions from Pakistan government.
