The legendary Portuguese soccer star, Cristiano Ronaldo, became the Middle East soccer champion for the third time in a row.
According to reports, the Portuguese star won the award at the Globe Soccer Awards held in Dubai, beating players such as Karim Benzema, Salem Al-Dusri and Riyad Mahrez.
In 2025, Ronaldo scored a total of 40 goals in all competitions, which is a clear testimony to his excellent form and consistent performance.
He currently represents Saudi Arabia’s top club Al Nasr and his contract runs until mid-2027.
The 40-year-old star footballer said in an emotional speech when receiving the award that it is very difficult to play more but my spirit is high and I am ready to play more.
Ronaldo said: “Whether I play in the Middle East or in Europe, I love playing football, scoring goals and winning trophies.”
He also said: you all know what my goal is, I want to win more cups and score 1000 goals.
