Due to the tension between Pakistan and India, the International Cricket Council (ICC) may choose to host important events from India to another country.
According to Australian media, the ICC has started looking at an alternative host country for the 2029 Champions Trophy and the 2031 ODI World Cup scheduled for India.
Australia is likely to host various ICC global events while Bangladesh’s participation has also been affected by political interference.
The Australian report said a search for alternative venues had been launched to avoid possible disruptions to future international events.
According to the Australian media, because it is a financial power, many big events were held by India, but after the tension in India’s relations with the neighboring countries, this decision is under consideration.
