Hockey Olympians appealed to Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir to save the national game.

Member of National Assembly Syeda Shehla Raza and Hockey Olympians requested Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to immediately hold ad hoc elections in Pakistan Hockey Federation in a clean and transparent manner to save the national sport.
He said that PSB has taken a step and entrusted the responsibility of conducting federation elections to PHF, they do not recognize the registration of clubs through the portal, any illegal election process will not be accepted, any legal means will be blocked with strong protest.
Olympians Samiullah Khan, Kaleemullah Khan, Hanif Khan, Ayaz Mehmud, Nasir Ali, Iftihar Syed, former Secretary of the International Federation Haider Hussain and Parvaiz Iqbal also expressed their opinions among those who spoke at the press conference.

Syeda Şehla Raza informed that in 2022 two committees were established for the affairs of the Hockey Federation on the instructions of the Prime Minister, the task of these committees was to identify the financial irregularities of the Hockey Federation.
He said the board under the supervision of the then President of St. Ayaz Sadiq was working on 500 paragraphs, the Prime Minister sent 113 paragraphs to the FIA for investigation, and the Prime Minister ordered the committee to select the Federation.
Şehla Raza announced that the interim prime minister has given the task to candidate president Tariq Bugti for the federal elections and the study of 113 points.

Former national olympic captain Nasir Ali said that Marshal Asim Munir is aware of the facts, Field Marshal has given orders to Corps Commander Karachi regarding hockey, DG Sports Board should be removed from duty.
The former national captain, Olympian Samiullah Khan, said that the problems of the players should be resolved, as the players are facing difficulties in getting their daily wages.
Former national captain, Olympian Hanif Khan, said that if the government was competent, there would be no corruption in the hockey federation today.
