Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf is all set to represent Melbourne Stars once again in the 15th season of the Big Bash League and his aim is to help the team win its first title.
Speaking to the media outside the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Haris Rauf said, “I started my career with the Melbourne Stars, so I have a lot of memories here, especially this ground. I love playing at the MCG and I’m very excited for this season.”
“I dream of winning for every team I play in, performing at the right time and winning the team is a real success and if Star wins this year, it will be a great moment for me,” Haris Reuf said.
On the question of bowling against Babar Azam, Haris Rauf said with a smile that there is no special plan against him, he is a world class batsman, I will try to get him out soon.
Haris Rauf said that the Big Bash League is a quality league and it is a great opportunity to learn by playing in different conditions here, so Pakistani players are happy to participate and a large number of Pakistani community here in Australia will visit the stadiums this time.
Captain Marcus Stoins will give him a new ball or later, Haris Rauf said that I don’t have a specific role, I am available whenever and wherever the team needs me. Whether the ball is new or old, it doesn’t matter to me.
