Farhan Ali won the national under-17 championship with a good performance and lost to Daniyal Shahzad in the final.
In the final of the championship organized by Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association at Jahangir Khan Sports Complex, Farhan Ali of Punjab won 0-4 frames against Daniyal Shahzad of Islamabad.
Their winning scores were 21-65, 11-71, 33-79 and 40-59.
In the semi-final match that was played earlier, Farhan Ali defeated Musa Tanveer from Punjab 1-4 and reached the final.
In the second semi-final, Daniyal Shehzad from Islamabad won 2-4 against Muhammad Kashan from Punjab and reached the final.
Daniyal won with the results of 30-67, 70-35, 64-31, 48-61, 37-54 and 45-70.
Meanwhile, the Junior U-21 National Championship will begin on Thursday.
