The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President Rajeev Shukla has expressed his happiness at the end of the ongoing uncertainty regarding the match between Pakistan and India in the ICCT World Twenty20.
Speaking to the Indian media, Rajiv Shukla said that he was happy with the outcome of the talks by the ICC representatives that the importance of cricket was prioritized with mutual consent, which is a good thing.
He said that the negotiations are being monitored by the ICC president, ICC representatives have gone to Lahore to discuss with the PCB and Bangladesh Cricket Committee and the issues have been resolved.
The BCCI Vice President said that the ICC has taken steps to resolve the issue and cricket is back, which is a big achievement by the ICC.
Rajeev Shukla said that thanks to the ICC for bringing Pakistan to the negotiating table and now that the match will be held on February 15 is good news.
The Vice President of the Indian Board continued to say that Pakistan will play this World Cup, it will be an example of success, there is one position for everyone, the match will be held and the World Cup will be a successful event.
Rajeev Shukla said about the Bangladesh team, which was out of action due to security concerns in India, that it is good for Bangladesh that their board was also given relief in the negotiations, the Bangladesh Cricket Board is also happy and praised the ICC.
It is worth mentioning that the Pakistan government has allowed the national cricket team to play a match against India on February 15.
