Despite the atmosphere of war in the region, the cricket festival will be decorated on time, PCB has shared the training program with all the HBLPSL teams according to which the players will try their preparations on March 24 and 25.
So far, none of the foreign players, including Australia, have informed their franchise and board about their absence, the authorities are waiting for everyone to arrive, so far only the Peshawar match is “on”.
According to reports, the opening match of the Pakistan Super League will be held on March 26 at the Gaddafi stadium between the defending champions Lahore Qalandars and Hyderabad Kingsmen. There has been a war in the Middle East for a few days, because of which the flight schedule has been disrupted.
After the T20 World Cup, the teams from India had to face serious difficulties in returning home, due to the situation, there were fears of delaying the PSL, but according to the PCB officials, it will be held on time.
The training program was also shared with all the teams yesterday, according to which training sessions will be held on March 24 and 25.
According to foreign media, Australian cricketers are keen to come to Pakistan, but the Pakistan Cricket Board says no player has yet informed them of their absence. When contacted by Express, several franchise officials also said that all their players and officials will arrive on time.
Due to the problems with the Emirates and Qatar flights, they are now found on other routes. Players from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will arrive on direct flights. Thailand, Singapore and Turkish Airlines will be used for players and officials from Australia, New Zealand and England. The itinerary has been sent to the players and agents, the players will meet in Lahore on March 23.
On the other hand, sources of the board say that for now the match between Zalmi and Rawalpindi in Peshawar on March 28 is “on”, a meeting was held yesterday to review security, usually PCB uses UAE as a plan B for any problem, where earlier league matches were played, but the conditions there are not good these days.

It is worth remembering that the PSL finals will be held on May 3, and a total of 44 matches will be played in 6 cities in 39 days. They include Lahore, Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Faisalabad. For the first time in the league, 8 teams will be in action.
