An important statement from the players came out on the news of the alleged fraud involving former and Pakistani cricketers.
Pakistani players have come clean and said that they have properly invested in a company and have not faced any fraud so far.
According to the players, the company is in constant communication and has confirmed that all payments will be completed by March, while only two checks have gone out so far.
The players say that Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also contacted them on this matter and on this they were informed that no major problem has arisen so far and they will be informed immediately if there is any development. Later, the players also told the Chairman PCB that the company has promised to clear the money by March and its owner in Dubai is in constant touch with them.
On the other hand, earlier reports said that the cricketers did not file an official complaint on any platform regarding the alleged cheating, nor did they approach the Pakistan Cricket Board to resolve the matter.
According to sources, some players have invested in a business that takes a former captain as an example, while the names of former and current captains have also been mentioned among cricket players. Reports also said that some players have invested directly with the business and have allegedly been paid crores of rupees in the hope of getting extraordinary returns.
