According to media reports, Mustafiz-ur-Rehman was released from the contract at the behest of the BCCI as the Kolkata Knight Riders had to pay him due to non-compliance with the insurance rules.

Mustafizur Rahman had a contract with Kolkata Knight Riders worth Rs 9.20 crore, Mustafizur Rahman is not involved in canceling the contract.

According to Indian media reports, Mustafizur Rehman does not have many options to take the legal route, IPL is governed by Indian laws, no foreign player will go to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

According to the media report, the relations between Bangladesh and India are not like Pakistan and India, the relations between Bangladesh and India may be good next year, so why should any player take the risk of going to the arbitration court.
