Burgess Khan won the National Under-21 Snooker Championship by defeating Punjab’s M Farhan in a thrilling clash.

The championship final was played at the Jahangir Khan Sports Complex in Karachi.

According to PBSA Honorary Secretary Naveed Kapadia, Burgess and Farhan met in the final where Burgess Khan won the final by four frames to three.

Their winning scores were 45-62, 66-32, 36-65, 68-25, 40-65, 50-69 and 10-63.

Earlier in the semi-final, M Farhan defeated Jahanzeb Jahangir 2-4 and Burgess Khan defeated Shahzeb Rafiq.

The chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony, Abdul Qadir Memon, President PBSA, distributed the prizes to the successful players. Former President of PBSA Alamgir Sheikh, Honorary Secretary Naveed Kapadia, Aqeel Surya and Umer Jahangir Khan were also present on this occasion.

At the end, chief guest Abdul Qadir Memon distributed prizes and cash prizes, while Alamgir Sheikh awarded the top prize (U17) of Rs 5,000 to Muhammad Farhan Ali (95).

Eqil Surya presented the highest prize of 5000 dollars (U21) to Muhammad Farhan Ali (100).

35,000 and the trophy for runner-up (U17) Daniyal Shahzad by Abdul Qadir Qadir Memon.

70,000 and presented a trophy to Umer Jahangir Khan Winner (U17) Muhammad Farhan, Naveed Kapadia presented 35,000 and a trophy to Expert (U21) M Farhan.

70,000 and trophy to Burgess Khan, winner (U21) prize by A. Qadir Memon.
