Dhaka:
Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar arrived in Dhaka on Sunday, he will now be a consultant with Dhaka Capitals in the new BPL season.
Shoaib, popularly known as the ‘Rawalpindi Express’, was given a warm welcome by the franchise owner, HB Remark.
The addition of Shoaib Akhtar is an important step for the team, adding international experience, winning spirit and leadership to the Capitals’ preparations.
The 12th edition of the league will begin on December 26, with the Capitals taking on the Rajshahi Warriors on December 27 at the Kosalhat International Cricket Stadium.
