Report: Soheyl Imran. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to remove former captain Sarfraz Ahmed and fast bowler Wahab Riaz from the franchises while taking a crucial decision on the issue of full-time officials working with the franchises.
Sources say that Sarfaraz Ahmed and Wahab Riaz will not join the franchise. Sarfaraz Ahmed and Wahab Riaz were associated with Quetta Gladiators.
According to sources, the PCB has decided to withdraw the No. of Authorization (NOC) for the two former cricketers Sarfraz Ahmed and Wahab Riaz.
It is worth mentioning that Sarfraz Ahmed is a member of the men’s selection committee and Wahab Riaz is the consultant of the Pakistan women’s cricket team.
It is worth mentioning that this decision was taken due to conflict of interest, both Sarfaraz Ahmed and Wahab Riaz are permanently associated with PCB.
