Report: Soheyl Imran. The International Cricket Council (ICC) will certainly consider the request of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) not to go to India for the ICCT World Twenty20, but deciding on the matter will not be easy for the ICC.
According to media reports, the ICC will review this issue immediately due to the lack of time and within 2 days an internal meeting of the ICC officials will be held, but the ICC will not make a decision in a hurry.
Media reports said that a section of the ICC is saying that the matter is only between the BCB and the BCCI, so it is not appropriate for the ICC to get involved in the matter.
According to the media report, the Cricket Board of India, which is the host of the event, will also discuss this issue with its government.
The report said that Bangladesh’s rejection would require a major change in the schedule of the event and that rescheduling would not be an easy step for the ICC at this point.
On the other hand, the Indian media has once again started propaganda with a provocative statement and it is said in the Indian media that Bangladesh, like Pakistan, is not important for the Supreme Court’s High Court and if it is rejected, Bangladesh may suffer.
It was also said in the Indian media that the ICC may reject Bangladesh’s request and the Bangladesh team may lose the participation in the World Cup.
It is worth mentioning that Bangladesh was placed in Group C with England, West Indies, Nepal and Italy. Apart from the group matches, there may be other changes in the schedule if Bangladesh reaches the Super Eight stage, so cricket fans will also have to change their travel and other plans.
