The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially announced not to send the national team to India for the T20 World Cup.
According to BCB’s statement, an emergency meeting of the board of directors was held this afternoon and it was decided not to send the Bangladesh team to India.
According to the statement, the progress of the T20 World Cup hosted by India and Sri Lanka was discussed in the meeting.
According to the BCB statement, the Board of Directors in the meeting decided that the national team of Bangladesh will not travel to India.
According to the statement, in the meeting the situation that happened in the last 24 hours was evaluated in detail and in the context of this decision, the International Criminal Court was officially informed.
According to the statement, the BCB said that the decision not to send the Indian national team is necessary for the safety of the players, team officials, board members and other stakeholders.
According to the BCB statement, the Bangladesh Board expects the ICC to understand the situation and respond to the matter soon.
