The former captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team and Test cricketer Muhammad Yousuf criticized the International Cricket Council (ICC) on the issue of Bangladesh.

Muhammad Yusuf has reacted to the ICC decision barring Bangladesh from the 2026 T20 World Cup.

He said that it is very sad to see Bangladesh, a cricket loving nation, deprived of cricket as security concerns are not addressed.

The former captain of the Pakistan team said that earlier when such concerns were raised, the neutral venue was accepted, the rules will not change for any country.

He also says that the ICC should play its role as the International Cricket Council, which should not be seen as protecting the interests of one board, fairness and uniform standards are the real basis of world cricket.
