Former Pakistan cricketer Rana Naveed Al Hasan opened up about the incident between Babar Azam and Steve Smith in the light of his experiences in the Big Bash League (BBL).

In a statement published on the social media site, Rana Naveed Al Hasan said that the Big Bash League taught me that Australians are very loyal.

“Having been a part of the BBL for a long time, I have seen how the big leagues work, like the team culture in Pakistan, the players are not afraid of the big names,” he said.

Rana Naveedul Hasan says that Australians only believe in talent and when you play international cricketers, you are tested for impact.

The former cricketer said that what Steve Smith did proves that wherever he sees you, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan need to rethink their ability in modern T20 cricket.

It is worth mentioning that in the match of Sydney Sixers against Sydney Thunder yesterday, Steve Smith refused to run on Babar’s shot.

Babar Azam was unhappy with Steve Smith’s lack of runs and showed his displeasure by hitting a boundary line after being dismissed.
