In the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup, Australia beat Japan by 8 wickets, while the match between Bangladesh and New Zealand ended in a draw due to rain.

In the match played in Windhoek, the team defeated Japan first and scored 201 runs with 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs. Hugo Tennekele scored 79 runs, Nihar Palmer scored 33 runs, and Naden Kore scored 3 wickets.

In reply, Australia achieved their target in the 30th over, Will Millayuk scoring 102 off 55 balls and Nitish Samuel making 60 runs.

The match between New Zealand and Bangladesh in Bulawayo was canceled due to rain.
