In the Indian Premier League (IPL), an inquiry has been sent by Rajasthan Royals team manager Romi Bhandar.

According to details, Romi Bhandar was using a mobile phone in the dugout during the match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 10.

The Anti-Corruption Unit (ACSU) of the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday showed a notice to Bhandar and asked for a reply within 48 hours.

According to the rules, players and team officials are not allowed to use mobile phones in the Players and Match Officials Area (PMOA) to prevent the exchange of suspicious information. However, in some cases, communication can be done via walkie-talkie.

Rumi Bhandar reportedly requested permission to use a cell phone before the tournament due to his medical condition, but making or receiving calls in the dugout is still prohibited.

Sources said they may be looking into an administrative matter related to the sponsorship.

It is said here that when Rumi Bhandar was using mobile then Vibhau Suryavanshi who was sitting next to him was also looking at his mobile screen.

BCCI officials say that a final decision will be taken only after a thorough investigation into the incident.
