The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the new PSL 11 schedule according to which the eleventh edition of the PSL will be held only in Karachi and Lahore without spectators and the opening ceremony of the tournament has also been cancelled.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi while giving a press conference at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore said that PSL 11 will start as per schedule from March 26, but as part of economic measures, it is decided to hold the tournament only in two cities and without spectators.

Mohsin Naqvi said that due to the situation in the region, the Prime Minister has announced austerity measures, the movement of players in the new tournament program will be kept to a minimum.

The new schedule of PSL has been announced

According to the new schedule of PSL, Lahore and Karachi will be played 44 matches in 49 days, 22 matches will be played in Lahore and Karachi, in the first phase 14 matches will be played in Lahore from March 26 to April 6, in the second phase 15 matches will be played in Karachi from April 8 to April 19. Six matches will be played in Karachi.

The league playoff matches will be played on April 28 in Karachi, the first elimination on April 29 and the second on May 1 in Lahore, the final of PSL XI will be played on May 3 in Lahore.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi said that holding the PSL will be mandatory, PCB will pay the gate fee to the franchises, international players will start coming to participate in the tournament within two days.

Mohsin Naqvi said, as long as the crisis continues, the crowd will not be allowed to enter the stadium, if the situation returns to normal, the crowd will be allowed to enter the stadium. It is not known how long the current war will last.
