The prize money has been announced in crores of rupees for the winning Indian team of ICCT Twenty Cricket World Cup 2026.
The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a prize fund of 131 billion Indian rupees for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Prize money will be paid to players and support staff.
Apart from this, the winning team also received a tournament prize of $2.34 million from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
India won the T20 World Cup 2026 by defeating New Zealand in the final.
It is worth noting that the Indian board had announced a bounty of Rs 125 crore for the team to win the T20 World Cup under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma in 2024.
