In the 35th edition of the T20 World Cup, Pakistan defeated Namibia by 102 runs to advance to the Super Eight stage.
Pakistan will play New Zealand, England and Sri Lanka in the Super Eight round.
In today’s match played in Colombo, the Namibian team chased down the target of 200 runs set by Pakistan with 97 runs.
Green jersey captain Salman Ali Agha won and decided to bat first, the team scored 199 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and set 200 runs.
The highlight of Pakistan’s innings was Sahibzada Farhan’s unbeaten century, he scored 100 runs in 58 balls, his innings was decorated with 4 sixes and 11 fours, his second century of the current World Cup.
Among the players who came out, Saim Ayyub scored 14 runs, Salman Ali Akha scored 38 runs and Khawja Nafi scored 5 runs and Shadab Khan scored 36 runs off 22 balls and did not get out.
Chasing the target, the Namibian team managed to score just 97 runs in 17.3 overs against the Pakistani bowling line-up, thus the green shirts won by a huge margin of 102 runs.

For this match, 2 changes were made in the Pakistan team, Shaheen Afridi and Abrar Ahmed are not included in the team, they were replaced by Salman Mirza and Khawaja Nafi.
