A 97-year-old cricket record was broken on the third day of the Brisbane Test of the ongoing Ashes series between Australia and England.
All players reached double figures in Australia’s first innings, the first time in 97 years that all players in a team have reached double figures.
In the first innings of the second Test of the Ashes, the England team was bowled out for 334 runs, in reply to which the Australian team scored 511 and took a lead of 177 runs.
England are 134 for 6 in the second innings, needing 43 runs to avoid an innings defeat.
It should be noted that the first Test of Ashes series between England and Australia ended in two days.
In the first test match, Australia defeated England by 8 wickets. The home team scored 205 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
