2 defeats in the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Karachi Open Gold Championship.

Top seed Karim Gawad and No. 4 Muhamed Al-Shorbaghe do not qualify for the final of this event, with the men’s final between Egyptian players.

The women’s final will be played between Egyptian and Malaysian players, so 3 players from Egypt will play the final, the final will be broadcasted live on GeoSuper TV.

Both the men’s semi-finals of the ongoing championship at the DHA Creek Club’s Asif Nawaz Squash Complex were lost.

The first upset saw Egyptian No. 5 seed Mohamed Zekrayya defeat top seed Karim Gawad to win the street games.

In the match that lasted about an hour, Muhammad Zakari won 3-11, 9-11 and 4-11.

The second came from Egypt’s Ala Abul Nain, who is ranked No. 6 in the tournament, beating No. 4 singles Muhammad El-Shorbaghe of England in the semifinals.

Egypt won the street games, 4-11, 8-11 and 6-11.

In the women’s semi-final match, Amina Orfi defeated Egypt’s Nada Abbas 0-3, with scores of 4-11, 6-11 and 5-11.

The second semi-final was a thriller, with 2nd seed Sivasan Giri Subramaniam of Malaysia fighting back 5 games to win against Aafia Azmina.

The lead fluctuated throughout the match, with the final game tied at 4–4 but Subramaniam won the final games 5–11 to advance to the final.
