Two bookies were arrested in Lahore for betting on IPL and foreign league cricket matches.
According to the information, SP President Rana Hussain Tahir says that the Johar police have arrested the accused Hasib Akbar and Muhammad Irfan.
Rana Hussain Tahir says the accused has gambled on ongoing IPL cricket matches. Also, 2 mobile phones, 6 laptops and more than a thousand rupees were found in their possession.
He said the accused was also gambling on International Cricket World Cup matches. The defendants also conducted group gambling through various mobile application accounts.
The head of the SP also informed that other investigations are being conducted by registering cases against the defendants.
SP President Rana Hussain Tahir also congratulated Johar Town police chief Mohsin Shahzad and the police team.
