The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the extraordinary and encouraging results of the tender issued for the sale of two new Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams.
According to the PCB, 12 parties formally submitted bids on the due date. These contestants are from five continents of the world, including USA, Australia, Canada, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Pakistan, which is a clear proof of PSL’s popularity and global appeal.
According to the press release, the results of this tender phase will be announced on December 27, and in the next phase, two new teams will be awarded the technology possibilities through open tenders. This stage will be held on January 8 at the Islamabad Convention Center.
The Pakistan Cricket Board is committed to completing the process in a transparent, competitive and inclusive manner, to ensure further expansion and growth of the Pakistan Super League.
